World Book Day.

Today is World Book Day!!

Celebrated since April 23, 1995 to promote book creation, reading, copyright, and publishing. As an author with novels out in the world including a slew of them left to add to the list, and having had this website for nearing 3 years now, I've been meaning to put this good energy out there.

Today, if you're able, sit down with a book and read, or make an author's day and support their work. Feel a little gratitude for all the works that have existed throughout history, the hard work and perseverance that brought them into existence. Let's all be glad that protections are there for everyone's creative pieces, and notice the effort it takes to try to get others to appreciate these stories that brought us here.

Thank you for every one of you that support me as a small author. Thank you for investing in my work, taking time out of your lives to read my stories, and falling in line beside me to love all of my characters. I wouldn't be where I am today if books didn't touch my heart. I wouldn't be who I am now if I'd never found some semblance of peace in all the words I've read between covers of a book.

So, this year, and every year forward, let's remember World Book Day with a positive mind and a willingness to continue to make it special.
