Today marks the first day of Spring! Coincidently, it is also my mother's birthday. She's turning 47 this year, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA--and a Happy Spring too! Haha.
Today, I thought it would be a great idea to go ahead and suggest two amazing books that remind me of Spring, and not just because of the floral covers, either. You can find The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow HERE and The Language of Flowers by Vanessa DiffenBaugh HERE. These books also have central themes that revolve around a sense of belonging, growth, and the future. Sounds a lot like Spring, right?
It is my hope that with the beginning of Spring in 2021, we can also find some relief from our stressors and continue moving forward, growing stronger, and loving harder every day. We cannot forget the pain and loss of Covid-19, and the virus is still prevalent now, but perhaps we are headed to a better tomorrow? Whatever the case, perhaps you'll find these books to your liking as well. Please continue to take care of yourselves and your family/friends.
